Yu Tsai has recently revealed his favorite contestants of the 21st cycle of "America's Next Top Model," which is created and hosted by Tyra Banks.
"Will and Matthew seem to have this really incredible bond of friendship that was new to me as well. I had no clue. And for them to deliver what they delivered, I was very impressed," Tsai told Buddy TV.
The new "ANTM" creative consultant also said, "I'm a fan of Raelia's. She's gotten the second-best pictures a couple times now, I believe. It was a toss-up between Will and Raelia. I love Will and Raelia for sure."
Tsai also named Mirjana Puhar as one of his favorite contestants but she needs to "get more focused on the model portion of it and less on the drama of it, so we'll see how she develops."
For Tsai, Lenox Tillman is also "a great competitor." Tillman got a score of one from Banks during the fifth episode, which was the first time in "ANTM" history.
On the same episode, Romeo Tostado was disqualified from the competition for assaulting Adam Smith, which was another first time in the "ANTM" history.
"I am a champion for his diversity and who he is as an individual," Tsai said of Tostado. "I don't agree with all the spirituality that he chose, that's not my decision to make, but he was being an individual and wanted to own it. That was something I really like about him."
It was also a first time in the competition's history when contestant Denzel Wells got a fake beard for his makeover.
"I really like Denzel because he did really, really well. He had to learn to own that beard," Tsaid said. "I'm impressed with how professional he is on set with me every single week. I definitely push his buttons and he definitely pushes mine."
While his father was photographer and ran several photo shops, Tsai did not aspire to become a photographer, Blog Critics has learned.
In another interview with Celeb Dirty Laundry, the Taiwan-born photographer said "ANTM Cycle 21" is special because he is on the show and "Miss J is back."
