Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban treated patients at the Monash Children's Hospital in Clayton, Australia to a visit and sing-along. The pair was in town for the Swisse Celebrate Life Ball, hosted annually by the Celebrate Life Foundation.
"It's deeply sad," she told the Herald Sun of the victims the charity benefits. "But events like the Swisse Celebrate Life Ball ensure that we are able to give to families in need. Even if it is just listening and hugging and showing support, then it's worth it."
Urban led with "Amazing Grace," and Kidman and the crowd followed. The actress recently opened up about the importance of charity work.
"It's one of the most important things I do," she told Hello! "I have been doing it since I became well known in the movie industry."
The actress revealed what a fan she is of her husband Urban's work.
"I pretty much know every word, to every song," she gushed. "The only thing I can't do is sing and play guitar... so that is a slight problem!"
Kidman has been divorced from Tom Cruise for over a decade, and her eighth anniversary with Urban is June 25. She has four kids in total, daughters Sunday Rose and Faith Margaret with the country star and two adopted children Connor and Isabella.
The couple has battled a string of divorce rumors as of late, claiming work pressures and busy schedules are coming between them.
"Tensions are at a boiling point within their marriage," a source told Grazia. "It's no secret that they're spending increasing periods apart, and Keith's close friendship with J-Lo won't have helped, especially as both Jen and Keith are returning to 'American Idol' next season."
We hope they are okay! Do you think it was nice of them to visit the hospital? Let us know your thoughts in the comments section below.
