Leighton Meester and Adam Brody stayed mum on their relationship before announcing their engagement in November 2013. They made their red carpet debut as newlyweds on Saturday at the Tony Awards in New York.

The couple was wrapped in each other's arms as they smiled happily for photographers. The "Of Mice and Men" star wore a white Antonio Berardi gown with Jimmy Choos, while her man wore a fitted black suit with a dress shirt and gray tie.

Us Weekly broke the news in February 2013 that the pair were dating. They met while filming "The Oranges" alongside Catherine Keeger and Hugh Laurie.

"They were always close and friendly," a source told the mag.

It was revealed Meester had a secret crush on Brody for years before they started dating.

"She says she always had a crush on him," according to the insider. "She was so nervous to work with him!"

"I always want to work with people that I like and love and people that I'm friends with," the star said on "The View" about working with her now husband. "It's nice to mix business with pleasure."

While they are away working, they heavily rely on technology to stay in contact.

"They're crazy about staying in contact," the source said. "He texts her the sweetest notes."

They wed in secret this past February.

Meester has previously been linked to actor Aaron Himelstein, while Brody dated director Lorene Scafaria and fellow "The O.C." co-star Rachel Bilson.

The newlyweds will be seen on screen together again in upcoming flick "Life Partners." Meester plays a lesbian whose friendship with Paige (Gillian Jacobs) unravels when she starts dating Brody's character.

"Life Partners" premieres at LA's LGBT Film Festival on July 10.
