It has been long speculated that Rita Ora and Calvin Harris were no longer an item. After almost a year of dating, the two have been seen partying with other people; Ora with Justin Bieber and Harris with a mystery brunette. The "Feel So Close" DJ took to twitter to put the rumors to rest.

"To address speculation - myself and Rita ended our relationship some time ago. She is a beautiful, talented woman & I wish her all the best," he wrote.

Ora has yet to comment on the split, though she did admit she is not a fan of long-distance relationships.

"I'm not a fan of long-distance relationships. If you had a choice, you want that person with you," she recently told The Mirror."It makes me pretty sad. But you work with what you've got."

"You have to fly each other out, you just have to," she added. "Sometimes you fly for 20 hours, sometimes you only fly for five hours. It's an effort, but you make it work. In happier times Ora praised her EDM DJ boyfriend.

"He got something out of me that I never thought I had. Yes, like falling in love. I just didn't think I had it. I'd never experienced it before. And I was just like in the wilderness, thinking, 'Will it ever happen?'" the "R.I.P." singer told Elle.

The two collaborated on chart-topping hit "I Will Never Let You Down." They were last seen together filming "Watch What Happens Live" in New York City in April.
