She may be single but she is not unemployed. It looks like Prince Harry's former girlfriend Cressida Bonas has landed her first big screen role just two months after their break-up.
The blonde beauty will star in Harvey Weinstein's "Tulip Fever" alongside Cara Delevingne and Daisy Lowe.
According to Us Weekly, a source told the Evening Standard the big news. The insider said, "It's so clever," adding, "They've cast actual models like Cara and Daisy [Lowe] to play the artists' models and for the part of the society lady they've cast Prince Harry's ex."
Joining Cressida Bonas, 25, on the big screen will also be the likes of "Glee" season 5 actor Matthew Morrison, Judi Dench, Zach Galifianakis and Christoph Waltz. The film will be based on an adaptation of Deborah Moggach's 1999 bestselling novel of the same name.
This is quite a change for Bonas who while dating Prince Harry kept a low profile and ventured even farther away from the spotlight following her break up from her 29-year-old boyfriend.
Back in April when talking about the split a source said, "Cressida will focus on work for a while," adding, "She has no plans to start dating people."
Since ending his romance with the socialite, Prince Harry has remained single. Prince William's little brother is expected to travel to South America next month for a six-day trip to visit Brazil and Chile.
The trip comes after his hot hook up with a woman while attending the May wedding of his good pal and British club owner Guy Pelly's wedding to Holiday Inn heiress Lizzy Wilson in Memphis, Tennessee.
E! News reported that the beauty will have plenty of time to focus on her lines for the script because a royal source recently revealed that things are completely over between Cressida Bonas and Prince Harry.
The source said, "Harry thought she was boring toward the end," adding, "She didn't like to go out, party and have fun as often as he does, and they weren't matched enough for him to commit. Cress is beautiful, intelligent and fun-but she's no raver like Harry still enjoys."
The insider went on to reveal, "Harry just wasn't ready to settle down and head down the route of getting serious with his royal commitments. It's going to take a special girl to tame him."
The source confessed, "Harry's completely ruled out any hope of a reconciliation now-it's over for good," adding, "As much as they had fun together, she was becoming too jealous when Harry did enjoy nights out with friends. She was constantly worrying about whether he was cheating."
Bonas also had an issue with Harry's friendship with ex-girlfriend Chelsy Davy. The insider said, "His continuing friendship with Chelsy Davy also played a part," adding, "Chelsy was far more fun than Cressida on a night out and it seems like he's looking for somebody more like Chelsy now.
"He wants the fun factor to be a big part of their relationship. Somebody who likes a big night out and isn't worried about the hangover the next day. And Cress was too square for that."
Well, at least she will be in a movie right?
