Solange Knowles is living proof that any publicity is good publicity. After THAT elevator brawl between Beyoncé's sister and Jay Z after the Met Gala, the younger Knowles saw a giant increase in music sales. Good for her!

Nielsen SoundScan reports that digital sales of Knowles' music figures went from 600 to 2,000. Her Spotify streams have doubled as well.

The Daily News points out her debut "Solo Star" sold 112,000 copies in 2003, then plunged in five weeks from the charts. Her second Sol-Angel and the Hadley St. Dreams," in 2008, reaching final sales of only 138,000. It opened in Billboard's Top 10 selling 46,000 copies.

After the shocking elevator incident the famous family released a statement regarding what happened.

"As a result of the public release of the elevator security footage from Monday, May 5, there has been a great deal of speculation about what triggered the unfortunate incident. But the most important thing is that our family has worked through it," a statement read.

"Jay and Solange each assume their share of responsibility for what has occurred. They both acknowledge their role in this private matter that has played out in the public. They both have apologized to each other and we have moved forward as a united family."

Beyoncé has sold over 12 million albums in the US and 15 million when part of "Destiny's Child." Jay Z produced more than 29 million.

This news comes on the heels of reports that Knowles is penning a tell-all about the power couple.

"Solange was always in the background while Beyoncé was the golden child," an insider revealed to In Touch. "She's sick of being held down and she's ready to fight back."

Knowles plans to release another album at the end of this year.
