Chrissy Teigen's gig on MTV's "Snack Off" caused health problems and food addiction. John Legend's model wife told Internet New York what really went on behind the scenes.

"It's weird how addicted I started getting to this food," she revealed. "I've never felt so horrible in my life."

Teigen explained as a judge she had to eat each contestant's food six times a day, 25 days in a row. It caused an ulcer in her esophagus and triggered a serious snack addiction.

"I don't know how dirty we can get here, but Snack Off is 'Top Chef' for stoners, kind of," she said of the show.

"You don't necessarily have all the ingredients that you would have on 'Top Chef' or 'Iron Chef,' like lobster... You're more so deconstructing a hot pocket and filling it with Cheetos."

Fellow judges include master chef Jason Quinn and comedian Yassir Lester. "Snack Off," which is described by MTV as "taking munchies into fully baked art form," will be hosted by Eddie Huang.

"At one point I ate a piece of Texas toast with a canned oyster on top with cut up maraschino cherries, and that actually won the episode," Teigen continued.

The Sports Illustrated model recently celebrated Legend's latest accomplishment, another Honorary Doctor in Music. She uploaded a picture of them at the ceremony, along with sweet words for her hubby.

"My baby got another honorary doctorate!" she wrote.

"I have a bunch too I just don't brag about all the time."

Teigen explained to Cosmopolitan how she tamed the womanizing musician.

"I'm not going to lie. We hooked up," she revealed on meeting the musician. "[When he went on tour] I left him by himself for a while. The worst thing you can do is try to lock someone like that down early on, then have them think, there's so much more out there. I played it cool for a long time. Never once did I ask, 'What are we?' Marriage was never my goal, because I've never been very traditional. I was just happy to be with him."
