It looks like after constantly denying dating rumors Lea Michele finally admitted that she did indeed call "Glee" costar Matthew Morrison her boyfriend at one point in her life. In her new book "Brunette Ambition" the 27-year-old is finally "fessing up" to the romance she slammed for years.

According to Us Weekly, the starlet who plays cast member Rachel Berry on the hit Fox series confirmed that she and Morrison, 35, actually did date briefly and before "Glee."

In her book, during a segment about landing her role on the show about a high school glee club she explained the previous romance.

She revealed, "When we shot the pilot, I met Cory Monteith, Kevin McHale, Amber Riley, and Chris Colfer for the first time."

Lea Michele continued, "I had worked on Broadway with Jenna Ushkowitz and Matthew Morrison before. Matt had been a friend of mine for years, and in fact we'd actually dated back in the day for a Broadway beat."

This marks the "Louder" artist's first time admitting to having a romantic relationship with Matthew Morrison. When "Glee" first started the two dealt with constant dating rumors but insisted they were just friends.

Back in 2010 during an interview with Parade, Morrison talked about the "laughable" rumors. He told the publication, "We were literally on set and I got a call from my publicist [about Lea], and [Lea] got a call a minute later and we looked at each other like, 'What the f--k?' It's so laughable."

Meanwhile, Lea Michele previously told Hollywood.com, "I've known Matt for years," adding, "He's been a friend of mine from New York. People are going to make things up. I think it's just because we really are so close."
