"S&M" singer Rihanna is receiving criticism after poking fun at a teen fan's prom dress.

Alexis Carter, a 16 year old student from Baltimore, reenacted Riri's 2010 Echo Awards outfit. While fellow classmates praised the outfit choice, the songstress was NOT impressed!

"Oh my god, I love it, it looks nice your body looks good it's different," were compliments Carter received on her mock Alexander Vauthier jumpsuit.

The teen fell in love with the "Diamonds" singer's ensemble and had a family friend create a replica of the design.

"I was like, 'Oh my God, I love this outfit. I wanna go with this outfit. Let me go show my mom!' And I was like, 'Mom, mom, mom, I wanna wear this!" Carter recalled.

"It's cool, I love it, oh my god."

The Internet trolls came out of the woodwork when she posted photos online, which quickly went viral and earned the name #PromBat. The hashtag was trending on Twitter and led to the creation of memes and dramatized photos.

Rihanna could not help but join in on the fun, much to Carter's dismay.

The starlet posted a side-by-side picture, one of her in the outfit, labeled "IG" and one of the teen, labeled "real life". Captioned with a sad face, RiRi could not help but add a second, with the teen next to the Wu Tang Clan's bat symbol.

"Why throw shade on it when you had on the exact same thing," Carter said of the posts. "The poses was different but the outfit wasn't ... She don't love her fans like she says she does."

The student adds she is no longer a fan of Rihanna and will no longer replicate her style.

We are so shocked RiRi would do something like this! Was she too harsh, or just having fun? Let us know your thoughts in the comments section below!
