Ellen Page revealed on Valentine's Day that she is a lesbian, and this weekend she was spotted for the first time with her girlfriend! The "X-Men: Days of Future Past" star looked affectionate with a mystery blonde in Manhattan's Nolita neighborhood.
A source told The Daily Mail the pair dined at Café Habana and shopped at McNally Jackson Books, followed by Whole Foods.
"I'm so stoked to get married," Page recently told The Hollywood Reporter. "I'm such a romantic, it's awful. And I don't think I'd want to make a kid, but I'd love to raise one. I'd love to raise a kid."
Page wore a dotted button-up shirt, jeans with brown boots and a hat, while her date donned a white shirt with jeans and black shoes. They were seen laughing and smiling with their arms around each other's backs.
The Canadian star felt coming out would enhance her life, and it seems it has done just that!
"I knew I would be happier," Page explained. "But I wouldn't have anticipated just how f***ing happy I am and how every tiny little aspect of my life feels better."
Page revives her role as Kitty Pryde/Shadowcat in "X-Men: Days of Future Past," due out May 23. Fellow co-stars include Jennifer Lawrence, Halle Berry, and Ian McKellan.
She also stars alongside Evan Rachel Wood in "Into the Forest," a sci-fi drama. Wood had nothing but praise for her co-star in an interview for The Advocate.
"[Ellen] has become one of my closest friends," she explained via Twitter. "When you get to really bond with a cool person for a role its one of the best parts of the job."
