Paula Patton strips down for the June 2014 issue of Vanity Fair, and spills about her love for estranged husband Robin Thicke. Keep reading to find out what she has to say about life and love!
The "Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol" actress met Thicke when they were teens in a nightclub, followed by a serenade session in Alan Thicke's living room.
"He wasn't my first kiss," Patton, 38, told the magazine. "But he was my first lots of other things."
The couple was married for eight years but have a 20 year long history. Patton and Thicke co-parent their 3-year-old son Julian. They released a joint statement in February announcing their split.
"We will always love each other and be best friends, however, we have mutually decided to separate at this time," it read.
"We've known each other since we were teenagers. All I can tell you is there's a deep love there-always was, and always will be," she revealed when asked if reconciliation was possible.
It was clear the marriage was on the rocks during Thicke's twerk-tastic VMA performance with Miley Cyrus. We reported recently that there may have been a third party involved in the split.
Patton went into film after finishing college and decided to take the stage at age 27.
"I felt uncomfortable in my own skin, so I liked the other side of the camera," she says.
"It took until I was 27 to say, 'You only have one life to live, so you might as well go and see if you can act.' "
The actress is currently in Canada filming "Warcraft," based on the online game series.
