Shaun White gave one lucky fan the surprise of her life - he went to prom with her! Carly Monzo of Pennsylvania was shocked when he showed up after originally not responding to the request.

Monzo attends Mount Saint Joseph Academy, an all-girl school with slim pickings for prom dates. The super fan sent the two-time Olympian gold medalist a video request stating,

"Roses are red, violets are blue, My name is Carly Monzo, but I'm sure you had no clue. I'm currently a senior @ an all girls school. So when it comes to dates there's no boy pool," She added, "I have a six-foot rule & I know you're 5'9″ but I can overlook that 'cuz DAMN you're FINE."

Monzo wound up finding another date when White did not respond, and did not think much of it that night.

White uploaded a picture to his Twitter account that night looking dapper in a tux, captioned, "Hey @carlymonzo #promcrashers #badthings #ShaunSaidYes."

He surprised his date on stage at prom along with his band, "Bad Things." He revealed himself right in the middle of the big dance.

"At prom they called me up," Monzo told CBS Philly. "They were like, 'Carly Monzo, where's Carly Monzo?' And I was like, 'Oh my goodness, what did I do?' I literally thought I was in trouble."

"It was crazy," she added. "On the stage that was there - they just dropped the curtains. I turned around. I was speechless."

White even gave Monzo a kiss on the cheek. It turns out her new date was pretty cool about it, too!

The two uploaded pictures having a great time to social media, which took the Internet by storm.
