Did power couple Kim Kardashian and Kanye West get married already? We know the Parisian nuptials will take place on May 24 and be filmed for "Keeping up with the Kardashians," but according to reports the pair is already hitched!

"Kim and Kanye are now married on paper. They got their license in California over the past few days," a source told Life and Style. "Kim and North are on their way to NYC now."

Kimye came to the Big Apple for the annual Met Gala, so will they announce the news for everyone?

Kardashian looked business casual in a black boyfriend blazer and dress pants, with matching black stilettos and a nude top. Her hubby opted for a more relaxed look, in ripped jeans, a white t-shirt, and gray zip-up hoodie.

The E! personality appeared sun kissed, but without any makeup.

According to TMZ, the pair obtained a "confidential" marriage license, meaning an official could wed them privately outside a courthouse setting. They got engaged on the reality star's birthday, Oct. 21, and are parents to 10-month-old daughter North West.

They were spotted leaving LAX on Saturday; neither sporting wedding rings.

Hollywood Life notes French law requires one half of the couple to reside in the country for 40 days prior to tying the knot, and two forms of French ID proving that they lived there. This was not possible with Kimye's busy schedules.

"People are probably assuming we're going to have this massive wedding, and I think it will be - but intimate," Kardashian told Vogue during THAT cover special. "Two hundred people - just all of our closest friends - a special night for us and all the people that really love us and that have supported us."
