It looks like Ariana Grande and Jennette McCurdy may be in a feud after the blonde who was recently involved in a racy photo scandal refused to attend 2014 Kids' Choice Awards in Los Angeles on Saturday with her costar.
According to Entertainment Wise, the 21-year-old actress failed to show up to the awards ceremony prompting many to speculate that she is feuding with her "Sam & Cat" co-star.
The celebrity awards show was held at the University of Southern California's Galen Center where both ladies where supposed to appear, leaving fans curious about McCurdy's whereabouts.
In the actress' absence, "Sam & Cat" took home the Favorite TV Show award while Ariana Grande, 20, won Favorite TV Actress which Jennette McCurdy was also nominated for.
The star who is know for her portrayal of Sam Puckett took to Twitter to respond to fans who were curious as to why she was a no show to the KCAs.
In a TwitLonger message Andre Drummond's ex-girlfriend wrote, "A lot of you guys are asking why I didn't attend the KCAs.... I wish I could explain everything as thoroughly as I would like to, but unfortunately a simpler explanation is all I can write.
"I was put in an uncomfortable, compromising, unfair situation (many of you have guessed what it is) and I had to look out for me.
"I chose to not go because sticking up for what is right and what is fair is what my mom taught me is ALWAYS the most important thing."
She went on to write, "I want to thank those of you who have reached out with kind words of support, McCurdians and Arianators alike. No matter who or what you support, I believe in supporting fairness first. If you have done that, thank you."
Jennette McCurdy also assured fans that she did not back out of the KCAs due to her racy photo scandal.
She tweeted, "My previous tweet has nothing to do with pics leaked.oh you guys lol.
"It has to do with how nickelodeon treated me. That's all. Thanks for the love. <3."
Ariana Grande has not commented on the controversy or her costar's lack of appearance.
