It looks like Zac Efron has his friends worried, following his recent fight against a group of homeless men on Skid Row in Los Angeles who were trying to harm his bodyguard.
According to Hollywood Life, the "Neighbors" actor's friends are worried that he is back on drugs following the incident in the sketchy neighborhood.
Apparently none of the 26-year-old's friends believe that the actor drove to that part of town in the middle of the night just to get sushi as the actor told police. His pals are worried that he is falling back into some old habits again.
A friend of Efron said, "Zac's a loner. He goes out rarely and the idea of him driving for miles to go to some sushi restaurant in downtown L.A. after midnight is preposterous."
Several of the "That Awkward Moment" star's friends told TMZ that the so-called "bodyguard" is someone Lily Collin's ex-boyfriend has been spending a lot of time with and they feel as if he's a bad influence on the former "rehab patient."
New sources told TMZ that the actor never went to rehab and instead stayed with a friend outside of California and received private therapy sessions.
In fact Zac Efron has lost a lot of friends in the past few months because they have became frustrated that he is reverting back to his old ways and using drugs once more.
On Thursday it was revealed that the "bodyguard" who initially revealed that he was viciously stabbed in the face, chest and stomach by "transients" lied.
Law enforcement sources said that when they arrived at the scene the only one bleeding was the former Disney star.
The "bodyguard" was just sitting there texting away.
