It's not secret that Catherine Duchess of Cambridge has an incredible fashion sense but now it looks like baby Prince George's mom is receiving official praise for her style.

According to Entertainment Wise, Kate Middleton has been deemed a "wonderful influence" on British fashion with a designer praising her styling choices ahead of her Australia tour. This news comes after reports claimed Queen Elizabeth II told the royal that she needs to adjust her look as her skirt hemlines were not appropriate.

The 32-year-old has plans to head Down Under with her husband Prince William and their royal baby Prince George for an official tour of the country in April with many fashionistass waiting to see what designer pieces the Duchess will bring with her.

New Zealand designer Emilia Wickstead shared why the "Kate Effect" inspired her. She explained, "I am always designing with the idea of a woman dressing up."

She continued, "And I think she is influencing fashion in that way so that young girls in Britain or around the world can look up to her and - whether you like the way she dresses, whether you like it or not - I think it is wonderful what she does for fashion, particularly British fashion."

Designer fashion houses like Alexander McQueen and Alice Temperley have been rumored to be making some stunning clothing for Kate Middleton as she prepares to embark on her big trip.

However, in the meantime we can look forward to seeing what Catherine Duchess of Cambridge will wear to her next event, hosting a reception at Buckingham Palace on February 17th.

While there she will rub elbow with  the likes of Helen Mirren and Benedict Cumberbatch.

According to Hello! Magazine, Queen Elizabeth II and Prince William's wife will greet around 250 guests consisting of directors, producers, playwrights, teachers and actors before watching performances in the Palace's ballroom.
