It looks like the Barden Bella's are officially back as Anna Kendrick and Rebel Wilson are confirmed to return for "Pitch Perfect 2."
The first film which was a surprise blockbuster followed the hilarious story line about the world of collegiate a cappella competitions.
According to E! News, Elizabeth Banks, who also played a judge in "Pitch Perfect" has already signed on to direct the sequel.
Wilson quickly took to her Twitter account to retweet the big news about her and Kendrick returning as their characters Fat Amy and Beca respectively.
She also wrote, "@AnnaKendrick47 & Myself: 2 Girls, 1 CUPS in Pitch Perfect 2 x."
According to Universal Pictures and Gold Circle Films, "Pitch Perfect 2" is set to hit theaters May 15, 2015.
However, fans who want to hear Anna Kendrick's lovely voice sooner will not have to wait too long. Some may recall that the Pitch Perfect's soundtrack, which included the "Drinking Buddies" actress' cover of "Cups," sold more than 1 million copies.
Next up, the 28-year-old will be appearing in the film adaptation of Stephen Sondheim's "Into the Woods," as Cinderella alongside the likes of Johnny Depp, Chris Pine, Meryl Streep, Emily Blunt and Christine Baranski.
The musical is set for a Christmas Day release date.
