Is the "Pippa Effect" the new "Kate Effect"? In a situation we're used to seeing with Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge, an outfit Pippa Middleton was photographed wearing out to brunch sold out almost immediately after the brands and designers were revealed.
On Wednesday, January 15, Pippa, 30, was photographed as she headed to brunch at the West London restaurant Aubaine. She wore a chic, all-black outfit that caught the attention of royal watchers and fashionistas. Her outfit included a £470 ($770) Cashmere by Tania shift, a £295 ($480) Sefanel coat, a £795 ($1,300) Aspinal Marylebone tote and Russell and Bromley boots.
She did have one fast fashion item - a £15 ($25) Accessorize statement necklace.
Despite the high prices on the designer items, the bag, boots and dress - and, of course, the necklace - have all sold out, reports the Daily Mail.
Another pair of boots that Pippa has been photographed in recently, a pair of £150 ($250) suede boots by Seven Boot Lane, have also sold out and now have a growing waiting list for when they reappear in stores at the end of the month.
