Even though Emma Watson was rumored to be engaged to boyfriend Will Adamowicz it looks like the couple actually split due to the "The Bling Ring star's hectic schedule.

This news comes right before pictures emerged of the college student being spotted with a mysterious white substance.

According to the Mirror, the brunette's former boyfriend Adamowicz, 23, was seen with six white packets at a alcohol filled New Year's Eve party in New York City.

In the photo the Oxford graduate is seen with white powder spread across a table in front of him also pictured on the table appears to be a rolled-up cigarette, a $100 bill and a New York City MetroCard.

Attached to the photo that was posted on January 1st was the caption, "HNY [Happy New Year] - with Will Adamowicz."

Following the post Adamowicz quickly received unwanted attention and soon confirmed he was no longer in a relationship with Emma Watson while denying the packets in the picture contained drugs.

According to the publication, he said, "The picture is not compromising. It is not what you think. They are not packages. They are not drugs. They are just bits of scrap paper. I don't take any drugs." When asked what the white powder was he did not answer.

The pictures was posted on a public Facebook page by Adamowicz's friend Antoine Salagnon, who used the profile name Antoine Abstrakt. The profile has since been removed.

Watson, who came to fame for portraying Hermoine Granger in the "Harry Potter" films met Will Adamowicz during her time at Oxford University in 2011.

A rep for the starlet confirmed, "Emma and Will separated last summer and are no longer in touch."
