Miley Cyrus recently got cozy and intimate with rapper, French Montana after her recent Jingle Ball appearance. But does the closeness mean "Wrecking Ball" singer is dating the "Freaks" lyricist? 

According to Splash News, Liam Hemsworth's 21-year-old ex-fiance laughed and giggled with French Montana at the huge music concert in New York City on Friday.

The two performers had previously collaborated on a Will.i.am's latest single, "Feelin' My-self." But over the weekend, they had shared "two long hugs" and were "holding each other very close," reported the celebrity news and photo agency.

In fact, security was under the impression that the pair were dating because they sat so close to each other during the show. Also, the twosome did leave the concert separately before attending the Jingle Bell after party. 

Cyrus is still on the rebound, having ended things with Hemsworth in September.

The blonde songbird had told talk show host, Ellen DeGeneres that she was happy being single. The starlet also said that she had never been as confident as she is now.

"I keep saying I'm the happiest I've ever been - and that's not even a dig - I'm just really genuinely happy with myself," said Cyrus. "And I think sometimes it takes you separating yourself from someone else to really be happy with who you are."

In recent months, Cyrus had been romantically linked to Theo Wenner, Benji Madden, Justin Bieber and rappers, Juicy J and Mike WILL Made It.
