Miley Cyrus may be spending the holidays being jealous of her ex, Liam Hemsworth's friendship with his "Hunger Games" costar, Jennifer Lawrence.

According to a new Life & Style report, the newly 21-year-old  "Wrecking Ball" singer is dealing with a little bitterness before Christmas.

After the controversial performer and Hemsworth split, the "Hunger Games" hunk has been singing Lawrence's praises in recent interviews. But though the costars only are pals, it looks like Cyrus is upset and still may be in love with her ex. 

Hearing Hemsworth's express his love for JLaw hasn't been pleasant for the former Disney darling.

"[Cyrus] desperately wishes she and Liam could get back together," according to a source.

But what things has the rising star been saying about the real-life Katness Everdeen? 

"Jennifer has a big heart; she's amazing, she's great," spilled Hemsworth on "Good Morning America" on Nov. 20.

And just two days later, he revealed an even deeper connection with J-Law to the Associated Press, according to Hollywood Life.

"For a few years, I went down a path where I forgot to enjoy the moment, but being around someone like Jen, who is so honest and laughs all day long, I'm much happier," shared Hemsworth. 

The actor and his onscreen leading lady are very close, to Cyrus' alleged dismay.

"Basically Liam wants to date Jennifer; she just makes him so happy," revealed a friend of the actor to Life & Style, "but since he can't, he wants a girl just like her - grounded, nice and conservative."

And Lawrence "couldn't care less" about Cyrus being green-eyed.
