Katy Perry and Niall Horan recently met up for an outing in New York City. The two stars were seen arriving and leaving an exclusive restaurant separately, sparking romance rumors. 

According to the Daily Mail, the 29-year-old singer dined together at Soho House in New York City on Wednesday.

The pair had already had everyone talking when they jokingly announced their "fake" engagement just days after meeting in Japan in November. Though the two are not dating, it seems that they have developed a friendship. 

And this week, cameras caught them while entering and exiting the members-only club separately.

Both pop stars looked very fashionable and trendy. Perry, who is dating John Mayer, donned a striped-brown warm coat and knee-high leather boots. She paired the coat with a polka-dot scarf, fuzzy blue beanie and an elegant brown leather handbag, reported the newspaper. 

Horan kept it simple and casual in a pair of skinny blue jeans, a white T-shirt and grey jacket. The One Direction crooner also had on white Nike sneakers and a Lakers cap.

The pair of performers share a lot of chemistry. At the 2012 MTV Video Music Awards, Horan stole a kiss from Perry after she gave out the Best Pop Video award to 1D.
