Bethenny Frankel has a secret! The talk show host doesn't always splurge on high-end skin care and makeup products, unlike most celebrities. Instead of spending all of her money on expensive items, Ms. Frankel knows a thing or two about finding the best beauty buys for only a few bucks!
With such beautiful makeup looks, wondering where the 43-year-old television personality gets her beauty items from?
Drumroll please...the drugstore! Bethenny recently dished on her favorite find at the pharmacy: makeup brushes.
"I love makeup brushes at drugstores," said the former "Real Housewives of New York" star exclusively to Hollywood Life. "They always have good makeup brushes - people spend a lot of money on makeup brushes and I don't think you need to. You will catch me on Alcatraz in a jail cell before you will catch me spending $80 on a makeup brush!"
The thriving entrepreneur is an advocate for the non-profit, Dress For Success, helping disadvantaged women become stars in the professional world. She has a lot of advice for young ladies about putting their best foot forward when it comes to their makeup.
"I would say keep it simple," shared Bethenny about the perfect job interview look. "Cover up your blemishes and have even skin, conceal and add a little lip gloss, with a little blush and mascara. But not any bright colors, nothing distracting, not too crazy. The same thing with your hair - you don't want to have streaks, just keep it clean and simple."
Juggling motherhood and being host of the FOX daytime talk show, Bethenny is very busy these days. But the New York-based Skinnygirl Cocktails founder tries to eat a nutritious and balanced diet.
"I grew up eating quality food but in a very obsessive household about being thin and eating disorders," said Bethenny to Health magazine. "...I figured out how dieting doesn't work. I've been on every diet and it took me three years to realize: Diets are hopeless. They are hope, and then they break your spirit. So (my book) Naturally Thin will still be the greatest work accomplishment of my life...It's learning how to allow and to indulge. That works."
