Katy Perry recently showed off her bikini body in Miami, following wedding rumors about her boyfriend, John Mayer proposing to her. 

According to the Huffington Post, the "Roar" singer, 29, enjoyed some rest and relaxation over the weekend.

Rihanna's friend relaxed on the beach, catching some warmth on Sunday. The sighting of the songstress happened after her appearance at the MTV European Music Awards on Nov. 10.  

Cameras caught the dark-haired performer wearing a blue cover-up, Ray-Bans and a pink headband bandana. She kept her fair skin out of the sun as she sipped on an iced tea, reported Huffington. 

Perry looked very happy while taking a break from the stage. In recent weeks, the star had been the subject of numerous rumors about marrying the "Paper Doll" singer.

According to E! Online, the reunited couple are heading down the aisle in the near future. 

"It's inevitable," said a source to E!, adding that Perry and her leading man are "very serious." 

It looks like the singer is so smitten with her beau, and wants everyone to know it. It also looks like Mayer is really in love, making it no surprise if he pops the question.  

"Everyone wants them to get engaged," explained the insider. "They are so perfect together."

The crooner has reportedly been ring shopping for his pop star girlfriend. The sightings suggest that maybe it's only a matter of time before the two become future husband and wife, reported E!
