After just 24 hours, patients are able to resume their daily routines as usual. In terms of side effects, experts describe any discomfort as moderate, lasting anywhere from 2 to 4 weeks. The most common side effects include temporary reactions at the treatment site such as tenderness, swelling, firmness, lumps/bumps, bruising, pain, redness, discoloration, and itching.
