Orlando Bloom's break up and divorce from Miranda Kerr has garnered a lot of attention in 2013. But the "Romeo & Juliet" star, 36, may have all eyes on him for not only his split from the supermodel, but rumors saying he's romancing his co-star, Condola Rashad.
According to UK's Mirror, the actor's onstage leading lady and rising starlet, 26, slammed the relationship rumors amid Bloom's separation drama.
Rashad said she and Bloom are not romantically involved after reports suggested that sparks were flying between the two when they jokingly kissed at a photocall. Bloom, who is battling more rumors about his soon-to-be ex-wife cheating on him with Justin Bieber, is just a co-star and friend, according to the budding talent.
"It's been wonderful working together," said Rashad. "He's extremely talented and very hard working. Orlando and I are co-workers and friends, that's all."
Rashad also explained just why people may jump to the conclusion that two are dating when they aren't.
"The fact anyone thinks anything more I guess means we've done a good job portraying passion and love in our performance," added Rashad. "People are addicted to shock and extra drama so they'll go to any measure to credit that."
All in all, the actress doesn't take the public's speculation too seriously.
"I don't take it personally," said Rashad to W. "When I was 14 I was in love with him too."
