One Direction's new video for their album's second single, "Story of My Life" was leaked early Friday. 1D's Harry Styles and his bandmates poured their hearts out on camera, but the video has since been deleted.
According to Hollywood Life, the "This is Us" stars "dialed it back" for this new clip. The video was the complete opposite of their first single off their current album, "Best Song Ever."
Louis Tomlinson, Zayn Malik, Liam Payne and Niall Horan's bandmates didn't even debut the heartfelt clip.
Vevo accidentally uploaded the video, giving a special treat to fans, but it was unfortunately taken down. But many still had wonderful things to say about the visuals.
"The "Story of My Life" video is the perfect representation of the song, which is all about personal histories and life-defining love," said HL's Andrew Gruttadaro. "Harry Styles, Niall Horan, Liam Payne, Louis Tomlinson and Zayn Malik get more personal than ever in the video, as they work inside a stark photo-developing studio putting up pictures from their childhood - the stories of their lives - and in some cases actually transporting to the old photos and recreating their pasts."
Gruttadaro continued, "It's a perfect low-key video to go along with the somber acoustic song, and the video's bare bones style also gives the 1D boys opportunities to show off their best modeling poses."
