Leonardo Dicaprio stars in a new "The Wolf of Wall Street" trailer! The film, also starring Jonah Hill and Matthew McConaughey, now has a release date on Christmas Day.
According to JustJared, the trailer was released right after news broke of the movie's opening date, which will be just in time for the 2014 Oscars.
The first teaser for Martin Scorsese's latest film showed the "sex, drugs, and money laundering" on Wall Street in the 1990s and captured the zeitgeist, reported the Huffington Post. This new second trailer goes "old school" by playing up the "Goodfellas" gritty nature of the veteran director's forthcoming film.
"Everything else looks appropriately off the wall, particularly that part where Jonah Hill is rubbing Leonardo DiCaprio's temple," reported Huffington. "Kyle Chandler, Matthew McConaughey, Margot Robbie, Jean Dujardin, Rob Reiner and Jon Favreau all lend support."
CBS News reported that the film "charts the rise and fall of real-life Wall Street stockbroker, Jordan Belfort, played by DiCaprio."
The latest clip from the movie, based on Belfort's memoir, sees the stockbroker spending lavishly. At one point, Belfort spends $26,000 on one dinner.
He also parties hard, and lives the high life, reported CBS.
"The real question is this: Was all this legal?," the DiCaprio-played Befort turned to the camera to ask before answering, "Absolutely not."
