Despite cheating rumors from former boyfriend Jai Brooks Ariana Grande had moved on and is happily dating Nathan Sykes however, this has not stopped her from supporting her good pal and former rumored fling Justin Bieber.
"The Way"singer took to her Twitter account to show some love to her label mate as he continues to promote his Music Mondays series, admitting that it is the best material he has released in a long time.
Grande took to her Twitter page to praise Selena Gomez's ex-boyfriend for his new songs "Heartbreaker," "All That Matters" and "Hold Tight."
"Justin's music sounds better than ever," the "Baby I" singer tweeted. The pair are known to have developed a close friendship over the last year but it got Ariana Grande in trouble with fans earlier this year when she tweeted a photo of Justin Bieber giving her a kiss on the cheek
The singer's fans know as the "Beliebers" flooded her timeline with hate responses due to their jealousy and support for Bieber's off and on relationship with Gomez.
According to Entertainment Wise, Grande explained the misunderstanding to MTV News. She said, "Justin was like, 'Yo, let's take a picture', and so I took out my phone... I was just smiling and he kissed me on the cheek."
She continued her story, "I didn't know what to do. I just walked out of the room. I got shy. And then Scooter [Justin's manager] came to me and said, 'Justin says you have to post that picture', and I said, 'I will not'
"I was like, 'I can't do that because I don't want the drama that's going to come with that.'"
After she defended herself and insisted the two were simply friends fans eased up on the insults towards the starlet.
Meanwhile, Justin Bieber is currently soaring on the iTunes chart with the third release of the Music Mondays series, "Hold Tight," while "Heartbreaker" hit number one in around 52 countries, according to Entertainment Wise.
