Kaley Cuoco's sister appeared on "The Voice" recently. The "Big Bang Theory" star's younger sibling, Briana auditioned for the NBC singing competition, wowing Christina Aguilera and her famous sister.
According to the New York Daily News, the starlet's younger sister, 24, attempted to carve out her own Hollywood path and step out of her 27-year-old older sibling's shadow during Monday night's blind auditions.
The brunette beauty wowed judges Aguilera and Cee Lo Green with her heartfelt performance. The actress and their mom, Layne cheered backstage for Briana as she belted out Lady Gaga's "You and I."
Singing and making it on her own has always been a dream for the younger Cuoco, reported the newspaper.
"This is what I want to do with my life," Briana Cuoco said. "I don't want to make appointments, take the dog for a walk, call the plumber...I believe I'm meant to do this for the rest of my life and hopefully this will be the beginning of my journey."
When Aguilera and Green chose Briana, her family was so happy and celebrated backstage. The blonde starlet jumped for joy, shed tears and couldn't contain her happiness when the two judges turned around in their chairs for her sister.
"I've been waiting for something like this so long for her," Kaley Cuoco said to host Carson Daly earlier in the show. "She's deserved this her whole life. She always puts herself on the back burner for everyone else. This is her time now."
The newly engaged actress also shared how close and how much she loves her sister, the Daily News reported.
Briana joined Aguilera's team. The next episode of "The Voice" airs on Tuesday at 8 p.m on NBC.
