"Rush" movie star Chris Hemsworth, Liam's brother, talked about his Vegas-loving sibling amid the Miley Cyrus' relationship break up on "Ellen" recently.
According to US Weekly, the 30-year-old actor opened up about how his 23-year-old younger brother's relationship with his now ex-fiance, 20, put Liam in the spotlight during an appearance on the "Ellen DeGeneres Show" on Tuesday.
The attention that the "Paranoia" star got from the paparazzi had a lot to do with his high-profile rocky union with the "Wrecking Ball" singer, DeGeneres said.
"He seems to get lots and lots of attention as far as paparazzi," DeGeneres said, "and partially that was because of the relationship that he's been in."
Hemsworth casually responded, "Yeah" to the talk show host's statement.
DeGeneres then asked the "Thor" star if he had that type of paparazzi frenzy around him now, and Hemsworth had an interesting answer.
"I'm lucky," Hemsworth said. "I've spoken to a few people about it. I don't know that you can ever...it's sort of is what it is. At times, you're a target and at times, you're not. If you have a film coming out or who you are dating and what have you...but um, we've been lucky, my wife [Elsa Pataky] and I."
The onscreen Marvel hero continued and joked, "We kind of live a really simple boring kind of life. We're not rolling at of clubs at 4 in the morning. Not to say that Liam is by the way...I mean he has once or twice."
A rep had confirmed to US on Monday that Cyrus and Hemsworth's younger sibling had called off their engagement after dating three years. One of Liam's late-night outings reportedly played a part in the couple's split.
But the break up was a long time coming, with cheating and fighting rumors running rampant for the last year, several reports said.
