The Batman Superman film's cast is being buzzed about even before the movie hits theaters in 2015. After the Ben Affleck Caped Crusader news, several reports revealed that Bryan Cranston will play Lex Luthor.

The "Breaking Bad" star, 57, reportedly will become the legendary villain in the highly anticipated "Man of Steel" sequel, according to JustJared.

But the casting news has not been confirmed by Warner Bros. If it's true, Cranson will play nemesis to the Affleck-played Batman and Superman, played by Henry Cavill.

Comic Book News first reported the possiblity of Cranston going even badder on the big screen on Friday. According to their site, Cranston has a six appearance deal, but could appear as much as 10 times as the notorious villian in several different sequels and films.

Supposedly, WB will make the official casting announcement about Cranston after the conclusion of "Breaking Bad's" final season. Studio executives reportedly believe that Cranston is beyond perfect for the covetable role.

"Cranston truly is a dream casting," Comic Book News was told by a source about Cranston reportedly joining the film.

According to the Comic book site, DC Comics also has a strong interest in Matt Damon, who could possibly play one of the Justice League members. Rumors are circulating that Damon would make a great Aquaman or Martian Manhunter.
