On Friday, Kanye West revealed the first photo of his and Kim Kardashian's daughter North West. After much anticipation, the celebrity couple finally released a photo of their baby girl.

West debuted his daughter's photo on Kris Jenner's talk show, displaying a little girl with dark hair and brown eyes like her mother, Kim Kardashian, according to the New York Daily News. Jenner said, "She has Kim's eyes and Kanye's cheeks."

"Some days she has your lips, some day's she has Kim's lips," she said.

Up until this point, baby North has been photographed on two separate public outings with her parents, however, both times she had a blanket draped over her face shielding her from the cameras.

"I thought it would be really cool on her grandmother's season finale to bring a picture," West added.

However, before the big reveal, West said, "I pray she looks like her mother when she is older."

"When my daughter was first born, people asked me, 'How do you feel, is everything different?'"

The "Yeezus" rapper said, "No not really, not everything is that different, it takes time to understand you met a brand new person."

"My only goal as a dad is to protect my daughter, that's my instinct to give my daughter as many opportunities to just be a child."

The rapper joked, "I'm supposed to be this musical genius and everything and I can't really work the car seat that well."

However, the "New Slaves" rapper revealed that since their daughter's birth, "It's really brought [Kim and I] closer because there is someone more important to us than us for the first time."

He added, "I am really happy that [Kim] could take this time off, she just never had time for herself."

West went on to say, "(Kim is) my joy. She brought my new joy into the world.

"I could have people say, 'This is going to damage your credibility as an artist or designer.' And I say, you know, I don't care, I love this woman. She's worth it to me."
