Authorities have said that Hollywood madam Heidi Fleiss has been charged for marijuana possession and intent to sell.

Nearly 400 marijuana plants were found in and around her home in Pahrump, Nevada, according to the Nye County Sheriff's Department.  She has not been arrested because she had exotic birds valued at more than $200,000, Nye County Sheriff Anthony De Meo told CNN on Tuesday.  Also according to CNN, she did not get arrested because she was cooperative and consented to a search without a warrant.

According to People, deputies arrived at Fleiss' home last week while looking for a woman wanted for address, and thats when they allegedly found the marijuana plants, said Las Vegas station KVVU-TV Fox 5.

Authorities dsay she was walking home from a nearby house and admitted to officers that she had been growing marijuana without a license, and intended to sell it to a cooperative in Las Vegas.

The police also said they found 153 plants in the backyard, and 234 in the house. 

Authorities said they sent their report to the district attorney for charges to be filed. 

Fleiss has previously appeared on "Celebrity Rehab" for drug problems.
