Victoria Beckham has become a fashion icon and despite winning awards such as the Glamour Women of the Year, David Beckham's wife revealed to Vogue Australia that she does not live the rock star lifestyle everyone expects her to.

The former spice girl who is mother of four, Brooklyn, 14, Romeo, 10, Cruz, 8, and Harper, 2, has been married to soccer hunk David Beckham 14-years and the power couple is still going strong.

According to the New York Daily News, the star said that her life is "much more normal than people think."

She said, "Honestly, once the children are in bed I'd rather work or shove on a face pack and pluck my eyebrows."

"By the time Brooklyn's finally gone to bed, it's all I'm fit for. Really, we're much more normal than people think," she said according to the Daily Mail.

Beckham revealed that she along with her husband enjoy love living in Los Angeles and despite his retirement she admitted, "We're all so proud of David."

"Having supported him at clubs all over the world for the past 15 years and seen how he has been an inspiration not just to me and the children but also to millions of people, we are now just really excited at the prospect of spending more time as a family."

Although she loves her family, Victoria Beckham has a very successful fashion line and told Vogue when she first presented her collection to critics she suffered from terrible stage fright.

She said, "Everyone would file in and act so inscrutable. I'd think: 'Um, did anyone like it?' No-one would say anything, so I'd just gabble to fill the embarrassing silences - even to the Japanese, who didn't understand a word I was saying."

Beckham has since had much success with her designer label and even sells out in items because of the popularity surrounding the UK native.

Vogue Australia is definitely not her first cover with the high fashion magazine she has appeared on covers around the world including, the UK, Russia, India, Turkey, and most recently, China.
