Olympic pro-swimmer Jessica Hardy nearly lost her engagement ring this past Sunday when she gave away her backpack, forgetting that the ring was in it. She used Twitter to find help to get it back.
I gave away my arena backpack w my engagement ring in it. To a volunteer in blue shirt. Pls rt & help me find it. Please!!!!!!

Hardy, 26, then tweeted that the ring was in the top little zipper pocket on the inside of the bag.
Luckily, the piece of jewelry was returned to its owner the same day she sent the Tweets, according to People.
Hardy wrote: "I GOT IT!! Thank u #bcn2013 for ur AMAZING volunteers. Amazing amazing." She also tweeted the above photo with the guy who got the ring back for her.
The cutest part was that Hardy's fiance Dominik Meichtry tweeted the following message and photo:
Thanks to everyone who helped @swimhardy & I breathe a sigh of relief.Found the ring. Engaged twice now ;) #BCN2013 pic.twitter.com/yADo81QxwP
