We love when models make history!  We just heard that Triveni Ravi is the first non-African American face to endorse Black Opal Beauty. 

The Indian beauty and nursing student who reps Los Angeles won the brand's 2013 True Beauty Model Search. At only 19, she beat out more than 400 other ladies to take the crown. Her essay, community service involvement, educational aspirations and photo must have dazzled the impressive panel of judges. The decision makers for the contest this go round included singer Olivia, Valencia from popular beauty reality TV show, "Chicagolicious," celebrity makeup artist Frank Guyton, fashion stylist Andre Austin and hairstylist Eric Bland. 

Triveni is head over heels in love with Black Opal. "[Their] products have been staples in my home since childhood and I especially love the new vivid cosmetic colors and Even True skincare products they recently launched," she said.

The gorgeous beauty's face will grace the brand's marketing materials worldwide, plus this lucky girl gets an all expenses-paid trip to New York City and a fab photo shoot! We're talking a spread complete with celeb-quality hair, fashion and makeup styling. Talk about the royal treatment!

And the icing on the cake? Triveni gets treated to a year's supply of the brand's great skincare products and cosmetics.
