Australian supermodel Elle Macpherson tied the knot in Fiji this weekend with billionaire Jeffrey Soffer, a source confirmed to Us Weekly. No other wedding details were immediately released.
Macpherson, 49, got engaged to Soffer, 44, a hotel heir, in March of this year. However, before their engagement in March 2013, they broke up in March 2012 after dating for two years.
During their split, Macpherson briefly dated banker Roger Jenkins. Macpherson and Soffer reportedly rekindled their romance after Soffer injured his vertebrae in a November 2012 helicopter crash, which also resulted in the death of his friend Lance Valdez.
Macpherson, nicknamed "The Body," was previously married to fashion photographer Gilles Bensimon from 1986 to 1989. She also has two sons with her ex-boyfriend Arpad Busson, Arpad Flynn, 15, and Aurelius Cy, 10. It is unknown if her two sons attended the wedding.
According to the Daily Mail, it is believed that Elle is preparing to relocate from London to Florida, where Jeffrey is based.
UPDATE: According to a source that talked to People, "Jeff and Elle eloped a month ago...they wanted to keep it a secret."
And, a hotel rep said the "day wedding" ceremony took place "mid-July" before "about 15 guests" - friends and family - inside a villa at the luxury Laucala Resort in Fiji. A source confirmed that Macpherson's two sons were at the wedding.
