Amanda Bynes is currently hospitalized on mental lockdown after allegedly setting someone's home driveway on fire on Monday night, according to TMZ.
The "What I Like About You" actress, 27, is currently on a psychiatric 5150 hold, referring to involuntarily confining of someone who is deemed to have a mental disorder that makes them a danger to him or herself and others, reported TMZ.
Doctors are evaluating Bynes after police found her at the scene of a fire at a random person's home in Thousand Oaks, Calif. around 9 p.m.
According to law enforcement officers, the local fire department responded to the home with part of its driveway already ablaze, said the celebrity news site. Someone also called the Sheriff's department after the former Nickelodeon darling was found standing by the campfire.
When deputies arrived, they began questioning Bynes about why and what she was doing at the home. The actress gave very bizarre answers leading to her hospitalization for mental evaluation.
The starlet can only be held for up to 72 hours, according to TMZ.
This incident comes after some very weird behavior as of lately, according to the Huffington Post.
Bynes was recently kicked out of the New York's Ritz Carlton after running up a $2,000 room service bill, TMZ reported.
On Sunday, she was accused of being drunk and trespassing at a retirement home, according to US Weekly. After being turned away by the senior citizens' home management, Bynes attempted to flee. She hailed a taxicab, "Get me the f*** out of here," she said to the driver.
"I don't have any money," she continued before being kicked out of the vehicle.
