The upcoming thriller, "The Counselor" starring Michael Fassbender, Brad Pitt and Cameron Diaz is already generating a ton of talk.
Fassbender emerges as the lead character, taking center stage in a role supported by a veteran cast also including real-life couple, Penelope Cruz and Javier Bardem, according to Entertainment Wise. The highly-anticipated film will hit theaters on October 25.
But in the meantime, a new promo teaser clip has hit the viral universe showing Fassbender in a dangerous game in Sir Ridley Scott's forthcoming suspense film.
He stars as a lawyer, who puts his life in danger after stumbling and getting tangled in a drug trafficking ring. His character interacts with a number of fascinating people over the course of the film, which Pulitzer Prize-winning novelist, Cormac McCarthy of 2000's "All the Pretty Horses" and 2007's "No Country for Old Men" wrote, according to IMDB.
In the trailer, Pitt utters these memorable words, "You may think there are things these people are simply incapable of - there are not." It seems to be almost an unofficial tagline.
Fox 2000 will release the film described as a "follow-up" to last year's "Prometheus" overseas in the UK on November 15, reported Deadline.
Scott shot the film in London last Summer and Fall, halting production briefly when his brother, Tony Scott committed suicide in August, according to NME. He dedicated this movie to his late brother.
