Amy Adams is on top of the world in having played Lois Lane in the huge blockbuster film, "Man of Steel" and gracing the covers of several magazines including Allure.
Her photo shoot with photographer, Norman Jean Roy in New York City is both equal parts adventurous and revealing. In one snapshot, she runs in a Prada wool sweater, silk cigaline dress and belt with sheer detailing, coupled with flying out-of-control red hair, to escape a lit-up Eiffel Tower and dark-blue sky behind her.

The Oscar-nominated actress can easily morph from a demure and animated princess to a bold and brazen fighter and believes that having a multi-dimensional face is her strength.
"I have no features without makeup," she told the magazine for their July issue. "I am pale. I have blonde lashes. You could just paint my face - it's like a black canvas. It can be great for what I do."
For the cover, the red-headed movie star's look was "all about the eyes with an accent of graphic black eyeliner," said makeup artist, Fulvia Farolfi. After brushing pink eye shadow on the actress's lids and lower lashes, Farolfi applied dark brown shadow at the outer corners of her eyes.
Using black liquid liner, the makeup maven "added a line on the top lashes and swept on volumizing mascara." To finish the look, she dusted on rosy pink powder blush, and "filled in her lips with pink pencil and sheer beige lipstick."
Adams donned a rose-red, cotton Michael Kors frock.
Though Adams has the fashion and makeup part down, we wonder how she will adorn her face for her upcoming wedding to her "tall, dark and handsome" fiancee, Darren Le Gallo. There has been much speculation about a postponed wedding for the couple after the screen star has famously said that she has no time to get hitched.
Perhaps the wait is due to the couple's different tastes.
"We both have a very specific idea that we want to do for this [the ceremony] in Spring or Fall, like in those months, but every time I'm busy working," she explained. "I want something very family-oriented and laid back."
As we wait for her forthcoming nuptials, upcoming IMDB-listed "Enchanted 2," "American Hustle" and "Janis Joplin: Get it While You Can" films, we might as well learn how to re-create her eye-catching cover girl look.
To do so, use CoverGirl LineBlast 24HR eyeliner in Enduring Black, CoverGirl Clean Glow Blush in Roses and CoverGirl Lip Perfection lipstick in Delish.
