Actress Amanda Seyfried is known for her slender frame but while appearing at the Cle de Peau Beaute Banquet in Hong Kong she decided to pack on the layers in her scarlet Givenchy gown.
Covered in the layers of satin the "Lovelace" actress look as if she was drowning in her gown but managed to let us know that she was not a sinking ship as she wore towering ankle-strap stilettos, according to the Daily Mail.
Seyfried looked confident in the dramatic piece that allowed her to flaunt a little leg, thanks to a knee-high split. The loose-fitting dress covered the star up to her neck and completely concealed her arms.
On the front of the dress was a large bow that was placed to add a hint of elegance but instead just added more layers to the piece.
Seyfried wore her long blonde locks long and wavy with her hair parted down the middle so it spilled onto her shoulders.
For her make up the actress opted for a dark smoky eye and nude lip gloss.

According to New York Magazine, the long-sleeved, full-length satin gown, combined with "a frontal slit and flouncy tie, was designed by Riccardo Tisci for the pre-fall 2012 collection."
To finish off her look, the actress paired her ensemble with matching red Givenchy platforms.
The in demand star has already begun filming for her new Seth MacFarlane movie "A Million Ways to Die in the West."
From there she is set to start shooting "While We're Young and Wonderful Tonight" later on this year.
