After a shocking and highly-publicized divorce from Tom Cruise in last June, Katie Holmes might be back on the dating market.  

According to Hollywood Life, the brunette actress is smitten with her "Mania" co-star, Luke Kirby spending lots of quality time with him off screen. The two stars, both 34, have reportedly had lunch together several times in her trailer, and walked the streets of New York City's Greenwich Village together.

Holmes is even going to great lengths to keep paparazzi and the media off the couple's tail, according to Perez Hilton. 

But how did the new romance blossom?

A source said to OK! Magazine that the film's storyline about two manic depressives becoming romantically linked after meeting in a psychriatic ward prompted the romance. "While making the film, there have been some genuinely funny moments, and incredibly sad moments, so Luke and Katie became close," the source said.

But what must Cruise be thinking? One wonders if he is seething right now. 

Hollywood reported that Holmes' ex-husband is quite angry about the news of the new couple, feeling a bit of fear and being green-eyed.
