Miley Cyrus is doing all she can to save the image of her relationship, and has been denying all rumors of a breakup between her and Liam Hemsworth—even taking to Twitter to squash them.
"I am so sick of La. And sick of the lies that come with it. I didn't call off my wedding," she tweeted earlier. "Taking a break from social media. #draining."
Hemsworth, meanwhile, has been in his native Australia all week.
A source told E! News, however, that Miley "is not listening to what everyone is saying about her and Liam. Everything is fine between them, as far as I know."
The source confirmed she has also been busy working on music for a track with Mike Mill.
"Her new music is going to be so amazing, she can't wait for everyone to hear it," the source says.
All these rumors have been fueled by the couple's public separation and Miley's decision to stroll the street minus the engagement ring Hemsworth gave her.
On March 8, the New York Daily News reported that Miley removed her 3.5 carat diamond and, despite her denial, there seems to be trouble with the celebrity couple.
Liam left for Australia on March 1st, and a source told the Daily News Hemsworth and Cyrus needed a break, not a break-up, because the two had been fighting a lot recently. A couple continents away will give you the space you need, that's for sure.
The writing seems to have been on the wall for a few weeks now.
Cyrus and Hemsworth did not spend their Oscars evening together, and Hemsworth was seen partying with another blonde woman while Cyrus was in the recording studio with her assistant, Cheyene Thomas, the night before the Oscars.
Hemsworth was spotted leaving the Chateau Marmont in Los Angeles and was followed by January Jones, the woman he was supposidely spending time away from his fiancee with.
