British designer, Gareth Pugh,  added a sense of bizarre mystery in dark colors and designs to the fall/winter season when he showcased his ready-to-wear collection at the Paris Fashion Week, Feb. 27.

As if the fall/winter months are not gloomy enough, Pugh added to the melancholy with shades of black, grey and white. Models were sent down the runway dressed in elaborate styles, from floor length gowns to dark colored pants.

After tantalizing the audience with ruffled designs last season, Pugh seems to have lost his vision and this year his designs have landed somewhere between mysterious and bizarre. While some of the overcoats and jackets were wearable and some even attractive with elongated necks, the dresses were a bit too elaborate for today's tastes.

Pugh employed fabrics like silks and leather especially on the dresses, which made them look extremely puffy and stiff. The dresses were figure hugging in the torso region but jutted out below the knee making it look extremely uncomfortable.

Some of the gowns when paired with heavy jackets even seemed to be ripped off from  Volturi's wardrobe from the "Twilight Saga" and we couldn't help thinking how the creation would look on Aro portrayed by actor Michael Sheen in the teenage love story.

Some models held the attention when they walked down the ramp in striking shades of blue but it was the color more than the design that appealed to the eye.

Pugh took bizarre to another level in the finale when models dressed in gowns that were lined with plastic stepped on the runway. The plastic was used to give the gowns a playful edge but it came out completely wrong and even looked like they had been designed with shredded garbage bags.

The models sported smudgy makeup and messy hair-dos that looked like they had been caught in a hurricane.

The show was attended by celebs like Fergie and Cher. 

After the show, Fergie took to Twitter and described the collection as "Sick."
