The costumes worn by Oscar winner Jennifer Lawrence and actor Bradley Cooper in the film "Silver Linings Playbook" are up for auction via Nate D. Sanders Auctions, Los Angeles, Feb. 26. The bidding wraps up Feb. 28 at 5 p.m.
The auction started just two days after the Academy Awards ceremony and is expected to bring in a hefty sum.
Five items from the actresses' wardrobe are up for sale, which include a custom made skin tight white pants that the 22-year-old wore during the ballroom dance scene, the black full-length double-breasted Moda International wool coat, the teal sports bra by Gap Body, an extra-small blue Threads 4 Thought long-sleeved shirt and a basic black tank top by Express.
Currently, the black coat, which comes with a pack of spare buttons engraved with Lawrence's character's name "Tiffany," has the highest bid of $1500. The number is closely followed by the teal racer back bra and the long sleeved T-shirt that has attracted a bid of $1,350. The tailor made pants has the highest bid of $763.
"She's now on the record for having an Academy Award, which definitely gives it (the items) status now," nydailynews quoted Laura Yntema, spokeswoman for auction house Nate D. Sanders, as saying.
Lawrence also won the Golden Globe and Screen Guild Award for her performance in the film.
Along with the "Hunger Games" star's costumes, the auction also features nine items worn by actor Bradley Cooper but the bids are not nearly as high as Lawrence's costumes.
A crewneck gray sweatshirt has attracted just one minimum bid of $100 and a gray hooded sweatshirt has 3 bids, the highest being $163.
The auction house has also put up two costumes worn by supporting actor Chris Tucker for auction.
