Britney's back on the market and looked stunning in a plunging, black sequined gown for Elton John's Oscar Awards party Sunday at The Pacific Design Center in Los Angeles, CA. Featuring De Grisogono jewels and a dress courtesy of Michael Cinco Couture, Spears was dressed to kill and looked beautiful with a more natural hair color. Accompanied by longtime manager, Larry Rudolph, Spears may have been sticking it a bit to ex Jason Trawick. She definitely turned heads with the new look.

"Britney has wanted a change for about a month, but we waited a while until we decided to go with it," Spears' colorist Brittany Hunter from Mark Slicker Salon told E!. "We wanted to make sure she was going to be committed to it before we made the change as it can be a difficult process going from light blonde to brunette. We started the process on Thursday and then finished it up on Sunday. We wanted to make sure the color was going to stick and it wasn't going to fade." 

"Over the past month we both pulled out general pictures from magazines that we both like and then we collaborated on the color. I wanted to keep her as close to her natural color as possible, so not too dark. In the end we went with a very natural and rich light brown. We wanted the right tone that would complement her skin color," Hunter also said. 

Also at the event were stars Kim Kardashian, Miley Cyrus and Heidi Klum.

As for Spears, the alleged boyfriend rumors are already flying for the "Scream & Shout" singer. According to several reports, including a Feb. 22 report from TMZ, Britney's new alleged boyfriend is David Lucado. Lucado, who is originally from Appomattox, VA, and works for a law firm, insists that he and Britney are "just friends," as tabloids have speculated that he is Spears' rebound.
