Want to try a new haircut? Justin Timberlake and Macklemore can help you out.
You might not be able to find two hair styles more dissimilar, but if you follow these guys' looks you'll be turning heads one way or another.
The classic slick and straightened: Justin Timberlake
Timberlake has tried all kinds of hairstyles over his now long career in the entertainment spotlight—dreads, short buzz cuts, curls and more. Recently, Timberlake stepped out at the Grammys sporting a flatter hairstyle that looks really sharp. This haircut is vintage and a lot of men can pull it off pretty well when grown, cut and styled correctly. Grab a comb, let it ride on top and keep it a little shorter on the sides and you should be good to go. Besides, if curly-haired JT can rock this straight and slicked, there's no reason you can't.
Hard Party Starter: Macklemore a.k.a. Ben Haggerty (CAUTION: Not suitable for most work environments. Unless you really hate your job/boss or something.)
The 'thrift shop' rapper has a style that's only for the bold, but as he tells GQ, "I really rock it because you never know how long it's gonna be there." Good point. Shaven really close on the sides with long hair combed back on the top, this is a really interesting look. Kudos to you if you can pull it off, too. As the 29-year-old musician puts it, the magic is all in the hold.
As a stage performer, his requirements might differ from yours a bit, but he offers a good, but hard to find, solution if you're one of those people who sweats a lot.
"I've bought all these really high-end pomades and stuff from barber shops, but they never work. Then I sweat on stage and they sting the shit out of my eyes," he said. [I use this] Axe called "Laid Back Shaggy Look Cream." It gives me the look and if it gets in my eyes I don't seem like I've been weeping on stage. It was just discontinued but it's all over eBay and Amazon. I've been stocking up while it's out there because I can't switch it up."
