Rihanna was attacked by a British fan who was miffed that the singer had gotten back with rapper Chris Brown.

RiRi was leaving the Box Nightclub in London Feb. 16 with a group of friends when an angry fan hurled a bottle of Lucozade, a British energy drink, at her. The fan seemed angry over her relationship with Brown and had some harsh words for the "Diamond" hit maker about her boyfriend.

Though the bottle didn't do much damage, RiRi is said to have fallen over the shutter of a shop and hurt her right knee, reports the Daily Mail. Clutching her knee, she was seen making her way to the waiting car.

The songstress is currently in London to unveil her River Island collection during the London Fashion Week. The 24-year-old was in a jubilant mood as her collection was applauded by the critics and the incident didn't seem to have dampened her joy.

After the Fashion Show, the singer's picture appeared on the cover of UK's Sunday Times merged with that of late Princess Diana and she took to Twitter to talk about it but said nothing about the attack.

"Just so happens I came home drunk to this in a pile of papers outside my hotel room!" she tweeted along with a picture of the front page of the newspaper. "My lil Bajan behind, never thought these many people would even know my name, now it's next to Princess Diana's on the front of a newspaper! Life can be such a beautiful thing when you let it be #yourejealous," she added.

Rihanna's relationship with Brown is being talked about again as the couple has been giving mixed signals to fans. The duo was seen cuddling with each other during the Grammy Awards. The Barbadian singer even sported a diamond ring sparking engagement speculations. But just two days later they ignored each other during the first anniversary event at the Playhouse Nightclub LA, Feb. 13, even refusing to sit together.
