Taylor Swift had better feel ashamed of her Harry Styles dig at the Grammys.
In spite of their recent split and Swift's militant attitude, Styles is showing his mature side as he's reportedly moving on, and holding no grudge toward their failed relationship.
Harry is "over Taylor, all breakups suck and he’s dealt with it and has moved on," a source told Hollywood Life.
"He was sad at first but he is in a different place and not worrying about her anymore. He’s accepted the fact that it didn’t work out and he isn’t pointing fingers.”
Unlike Swift, who is now notorious as a "serial dater" who takes revenge at her exes by writing breakup songs about them, Styles is very unlikely to have problem finding a new love.
“If it comes along, it comes along," the One Direction singer told We Love Pop magazine regarding to his view of love.
"Sometimes if I like someone, sometimes it doesn’t work out and sometimes it does. If the right person was there, I’d go for it. I wouldn’t stay single purposefully. I think for me, it’s more infatuation at first sight. You can see someone and I think ‘She’s amazing.’ I wouldn’t say I could fall in love at first sight, but maybe I just haven’t done that yet.”
With completely opposite attitudes, Harry and Taylor are set to go head to head at the 2013 Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Awards to be held in Los Angeles on March 23.
By that time, Swift may have some growing up to do.
At the Kids' Choice Awards, the country songstress and the One Direction heartthrob are both nominated for the Favorite Song for the awards ceremony. Other contenders include Carly Rae Jepsen's Call Me Maybe, and Psy's Gangnam Style.
Harry's British band One Direction is also up for Favorite Musical Group
"We are delighted with our nominations for the Kids' Choice Awards. It was amazing to perform 'What Makes You Beautiful' at last year's show. Thank you as always to our incredible fans and supporters!' Styles told People magazine.
The full nominations for the Kids' Choice Awards is set to be announced on Wednesday, and voting to begin on Thursday.
During her over-the-top performance of "We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together" at the Grammys Awards last Sunday, Taylor Swift mocked Styles with her faux accent in a monologue.
“So he calls me up and he is like, I still love ,you and I am like sorry I’m busy opening up the Grammys, and we are never getting back together, like ever,” the 23-year-old singer said.
In response, the 19-year-old British singer opted to stay mum, thanks to his fellow 1D members.
“The lads have told Harry to forget about retaliating, because it’s just not worth it,” a source told RadarOnline.
“They’ve all advised him to be the bigger person and not to wash his dirty laundry in public – it’s just tacky and embarrassing.”
“With the media circus that surrounded Harry and Taylor when they were together, the boys were a little miffed that it distracted fans from the band and what they were all about,” the insider continued.
“Of course, when it didn’t work out, there was a sense of relief because they knew that, along with Harry, they could all move on."
Taylor Swift, who is famous for her songwriting skills using her breakups with ex-boyfriends, may have just gained some notoriety through her Harry Styles dig. The 1D star as well as his mates are all moving on.
“It’s only Taylor now that seems to clinging on to their failed relationship, and Harry has been told to keep his thoughts private.”
